Oliver Krancher, professor, ITU

Oliver Krancher is Professor and Head of the Digital Business Innovation section at the IT University of Copenhagen. His research focuses on digital sourcing, automation, and IT project management. He has published in leading journals in information systems and software engineering, including the Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, and Empirical Software Engineering. His work often involves collaboration with industry partners to understand how modern development practices such as agile and AI-based tools influence teamwork and project outcomes. Before joining academia, he worked as a consultant at Accenture in Germany and earned his Ph.D. from the University of Bern, Switzerland.
