Effective cyber security reduces the risk of cyber attacks and protects against the unauthorised exploitation of systems, networks and technologies.

Robust cyber security involves implementing controls based on three pillars: people, processes and technology.
This three-pronged approach helps organisations defend themselves from both organised attacks and common internal threats, such as accidental breaches and human error.

Questions like how organisations build their information security programs and how do they deploy its resources, might be relevant to ask? And are there any misconceptions about information security?

In this meetup, Jens Heyn Roed Andersen, Dennis Rand and Torben Jørgensen will answer these questions.

Torben has been working with IT/Information/Cyber Security since 1999.
Since 2005 at Management level (Manager, Director and Vice President), being responsible for Information Security policies, budgets and employees, execution of Cyber Security Programs, GDPR compliance.
